Betway Gets New Payments, Risk and Processing Chief

An announcement was made this week that the European online gambling group Betway has appointed Paul Burton as Head of Payments, Risk and Processing.

From now on Burton will be in charge of all existing and new banking relationships as well as the launch of new banking products and leading on the company&s mobile banking solutions.

Prior to this, Burton – a Chartered Accountant, worked in various sectors: he was Managing Director in Proc-Cyber Services, the payment solutions company and Financial Director at DataCash Group.

Commenting on the new appointment, Richard Akitt, Managing Director, The Betway Group, said: “Paul is one of the most experienced payment professionals with expertise in our industry so we are delighted he has agreed to join The Betway Group.”
